Reba McEntire's career in country music has spanned over four decades, and she has no plans to slow down. The singer is gearing up for the release of her 29th studio album, Stronger Than the Truth, and preparing to hit the stage for her 16th year hosting the Academy of Country Music Awards, which is set to air live on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET (tape-delayed PT) on CBS.
Reba McEntire‘s new album, Stronger Than the Truth, is filled with heartache, heartbreak and “you done me wrong” songs, but don’t read too much into them. After a painful and unwanted divorce in 2015, the country queen’s heart has long since healed.
Ahead of STRONGER THAN THE TRUTH, out this Friday, Reba will make multiple appearances across the CBS Television Network. She joins THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN on Thursday, and on Friday will celebrate her forthcoming album on THE TALK. She then hosts the 54th ACM Awards on Sunday.
She's a music and entertainment legend, star of movies, TV sitcoms and Broadway theater -- not to mention a retail mogul. Reba McEntire sits down with Amna Nawaz for a revealing chat about the changes she'd like to see in country music, how she achieved career success and why she’s now going back to her roots.
A cowgirl to the core, Reba McEntire has never been bashful about her Country roots. The iconic entertainer proves it with STRONGER THAN THE TRUTH, her forthcoming studio album, out April 5 on Big Machine Records.
