Lauded for the show-stopping, costume-evolving rendition of her classic hit “Fancy,” Reba slayed with “one of the night’s most talked-about moments” (The New York Times) during last week’s CMA Awards. Fans clamored with adoration online as media praised the iconic entertainer’s abilities as both co-host and performer:

“let's be honest: Nobody can top Reba!” TODAY

“McEntire brought down the house with one of her most popular smashes” The Washington Post

“powerful vocals and McEntire's characteristic sass, the performance was further proof that ‘Fancy’ is a truly timeless country song.” The Boot

“Reba strode confidently around the stage […] delivering the up-tempo ballad with three wardrobe changes and her typical flair. Needless to say, the crowd was feeling it.” Billboard

“McEntire’s ‘Fancy’ is an ageless, camp classic that had everyone in the audience from Eric Church to Reese Witherspoon singing along and wearing a big smile on their faces.” Rolling Stone

“the audience went wild. It was a well-deserved diva moment for one of country's most accomplished women of all time. Among those who loved the performance was none other than Garth Brooks, who was caught on camera exclaiming, ‘That was f--king awesome!’" AOL

“delivered the gritty country classic with sweet perfection, it was the legend's outfit changes throughout the fiery performance that really had the crowd on their feet.” Taste of Country

“Completely alone onstage, Reba sang her heart out, told us a story, and gave us three (three!) outfit reveals, all in the span of four minutes. […] performance had everyone singing her praises.” Vulture

“Reba McEntire stopped the show” Good Morning America

“Fancy didn’t let us down: in one fell swoop, the country crooner dropped her dress mid-stride, showing off the matching red pantsuit underneath.” People
